Looking Forward to 2017
Happy New Year! Looking forward to 2017 at USA-Containers, we wanted to share some things we’re looking forward to in the coming months.
All Work and No Play Makes Mike a Dull Boy
You have to have a little fun from time to time. One of our projects is to get our boat – the “Sea Dancer” – refurbished and back in the water. Annie and I have traveled with the Sea Dancer all over Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, and the Gulf of Mexico, as well as the inland waterways of the U.S. We decided to dry dock her and do a complete remodel of the interior, update the generator and electronics and make her look like new again. We hope to get her back in the water and do some more exploring of the inland waterways. The goal is to end up in Gulfport, MS where we’ll keep her docked for a year or so before going onto our next adventure!
Hydroponic Grow Rooms
We are always amazed at the uses that you find for containers. There is a growing interest in converting containers into grow rooms. To meet this need, our staff is currently building hydroponic grow rooms out of insulated containers. We look forward to working with you to expand this business as well as discovering other unique uses for our containers.
The USA-Containers Team Is Growing
The team is growing! Over the past few months, we have had the pleasure of training and working with several new employees. It’s great to get some young people who are eager to learn the business, and we hope will become the next generation in this field. New Product Lines
The cold storage container business is an area we are focused on growing and expanding. This year, we’ll be adding many new product lines. More information will be coming out soon – stay tuned!
