West Central Cooperative Education
One way that we like to give back in supporting our local community is by participating in West Central’s Cooperative Education Program. Over the years we have had the opportunity to teach several students carpentry, welding & vehicle maintenance. This gives students real world experience. Furthermore, this gives students an opportunity to do hands on work in the filed they wish to pursue after graduation. Supporting our local community helps to build a stronger community. Current Student Spotlight
In January 2019 West Central High School called to say that another student was interested in welding and would like to come intern with us. Please meet Zac. While in High School Zac attended classes during the morning hours and then acquired on the job experience with us in the afternoon. While gaining this work experience here at USA-Containers, LLC, he decided he enjoyed this type of work and would like to pursue gaining additional knowledge and work experience after graduation. Currently he is taking night classes at Southeastern Community College in Iowa and working with us during the day. We are so proud of Zac and his hard work both at college and in the shop. His quick wit, hard work and dedication makes him a great addition to our USA-Containers family.
