A few of our customers include food distributors, restaurants, meat processors, pharmaceutical storage and florists. They are also commonly used to increase cold storage space for seasonal retail businesses (for instance, ham and turkey storage during the holiday season) and test chambers for equipment manufacturers. We have built test chambers for skid steers, motorcycles and snow blowers. Recently we have seen an increased interest in using our insulated containers for hydroponic grow rooms.
Please give us a call if you have a unique application you would like to explore, we’d be happy to work with you to see if refrigerated containers may be a good fit for your needs.
We offer a wide variety of options, including combinations of new and used insulated containers and refrigeration units. Other options include walk-through freezer doors, interior lighting, roll-up doors and electric transformers. Please contact us if you have special requirements, we’ll do our best to meet your needs.
Our electric refrigerated containers control temperature within a half-degree from – 20 F to + 80 F. We carry ThermoKing and Carrier reefer containers.
We take great pride and care to assure we provide units with maximum reliability with our used refrigeration units. We completely disassemble our units and inspect every component and renew them as needed. We remove non-essential items, simplify the units operation and give the unit a good paint job. Not many companies go to this extreme, but we know the importance and value of the product you may put in our containers and we do everything possible to maintain maximum reliability.
We offer 24/7 – 365 days a year mobile services and after sales support, if you buy a unit from us we will assist in any way we can to get your unit back up and running. In many cases we can provide technical support to your local service provider and walk them through the troubleshooting and repair process. We also have built relationships with other services companies to assist with servicing our units.
We provide parts and service manuals for all the units we sell and we can work with your electrician to assure you have the correct electrical service to run the reefer units.
Bottom line, ask our competitors on their service capabilities and service support and we think you’ll find our services to be SUPERIOR!
We stock parts for all the units we sell and can usually provide replacement components by next-day air service. What we don’t have in stock we can ship out of a nationwide network of parts dealers. Very few of our competitors will take the time and effort to do this, but we are all about service after the sale.
Selling a unit is one thing, but we make the extra effort to assure the unit will perform for you for years and years after the sale!
You bet, we have provided many units without the standard refrigeration unit. A very popular option is to install a CoolBot, which is a great invention that allows a standard window A/C unit to reach temperatures of +/- 38F for chilled applications. You can learn more about the CoolBot at https://www.storeitcold.com/. This is very popular in the produce market.
If you have an application where a temperature controlled environment is needed an insulated container may be an option you’ll want to explore.
We also offer used refrigerated shipping containers.
